In sorrow, I have temporarily borrowed happy thoughts from tomorrow. For I sleep before night falls And rising before the sunrise. Perceptive eyes; as I walk every new day. I’ve learned to become numb to any surprise. But I go all in, because it’s the way... As time passes by, you stopped asking why. Accepting; as the life of a flower is short lived, yet so precious. For the tomorrows, bringing of a new day. The sun may come with warmth, or dismay; with clouds to share their tears or perhaps, the winds to chase away our fears so we may still smile... Through the coming miles, of the rest of our journey. Remember to try a smile... Ron Tango Jr. |
Through the internal storm, I keep bright the torch of true love Burdensome, strong winds of denial and fierce influences of jealousy Rain down, casting puddles of doubts. Protecting my honor within me, my strengths are of strong heart and guarded by harbors of turbulent emotional tides, that would make the fullest Moon smile and wink My eyes need blink once proud, like the Sun bursting through To easily chase away these dark, moving clouds of those indifferent to truth Truth is mine; too experience a love so real So true, this; of only you Love of mine Ron Tango Jr |
All for Naught
As I laid my head down, I pondered… My heart nudged my soul and wondered Are her heartbeats longing? As mine to hers, belonging… Are my sensual dreams shared? And wantonly cared? Or is it like a beautiful spring rain flowing towards the drain… Or perhaps a withered flower, For hope of a shower… As a floral petal drifts softly to the ground… Then another without sound… For naught love was found. I searched the walls ending Or a vine bending to climb. Gathering my thoughts, but tomorrow morning soon to arrive, The sun is to shine, I will start anew and be fine… Ron Tango Jr. |
Heavy Chains So slowly, my glance graced a soft and delicate face. I became captured in her mystifying eyes… Nature, in its perfect beauty pauses the moments… Yet, vanquished silence never sang a song so sweet… Behold, with a suddenness, I was taken astray. I thought; I was frolicking through Heaven, but I could feel it coming inches from within… Oh, there’s still more to her eyes, you’ll greet. So transfixed, such love… I am swallowed by fathoms multiplied by a universe… Such heavy chains; I’ve ever known to bare. Pleasure and pain quarrel for my heart… Where can I run, where could I hide? Woe is me. Now, oh now; I’ll never, ever, forevermore be free… Ron Tango Jr. |
Love’s Plight I searched for you in your eyes, Like the sun hidden between clouds. They were not motionless. I wondered, Yet, you hold me without hands Why mysteriousness, my love? Unsheathe this hidden heart, I challenge thee So, we can flourish in our desires Soon dawn steps aside for dusk. The Luna Moth fluttered through Its last flight as it slowly falls into the night. Not to allow a Love to become abridged. Let truthful affection have its fight For its blameless righteous morality. Ron Tango Jr. |
A beautiful romance sowing... A storm surge growing... Hidden thoughts not slowing... Like embers of fire glowing... Emotions softly overflowing.. And two secret hearts knowing... Oh, but where is it going? Is natural fear showing? Like in a snow squall blowing... Never too be forgoing... Sweetest love so bestowing... Ron Tango Jr. |
My Love for You
Glows under the bright moonlight, like an illuminated wild lotus flower. Establishing its roots against the strong currents of the overrunning waters. Like the silhouette of an evening Fox, so cunning, whilst hunting on through the twilight, along the water’s edge. As it thrives and gains with appetite. Partnering with an overhead nightingale’s quest for its lover for the night. Thoughts of you rise like heavy vapors of floral scented spice. My mind has taken me abroad with such depth… I have become entangled and entranced with delight. Is this a force of weakness or a strength if I would choose to fight? No, not tonight, not tonight… Not under this bright and beautiful Moonlight. Ron Tango Jr. |
I am here… But every so often my soul takes me elsewhere; to be lost In a forest of gripping thought… Seeking the path of reality; but seldom traveled and a bit over grown… Fighting the temptation and sway of romantic moments, like a bitter wind it blows through me I am embraced… The dense darkness hides all, save her desiring eyes lurking among the trees… I can look away, or close my eyes, but a controlling energizing flower-like scent will overcome me and shroud my denial of my physical sight… Am I forlorn in this maze of emotion? Will reason shine through, to show me the way to a new path of light? Or forever am I to be misplaced and adrift? Ron Tango Jr. |
Those Eyes As I gaze through the windows to her soul I find myself searching through the beautiful rolling deep fields of chartreuse, beneath a cloudless but breezy day… Her head slightly tilted to the right, whilst she reaches out, her soft gentle fingers caress through my hair… Her knowing, smiling eyes, direct but caring, yet so mysterious, like a mistress in waiting… Affectionate desires rising, now I’m captured, a willing subject of hers, She owns the moments, but owes not a thing… Oh, I wanted forever more to be in her eyes… Such captivating, bewitching, beautiful, inviting eyes… Those eyes… Ronald Tango Jr. |
